Deaf Awareness Week
Deaf Awareness Week aims to raise awareness of the impact deafness has on people’s lives. There are approximately 10 million people in the UK who suffer from hearing loss. This makes deafness the second largest disability in the UK. Deaf Awareness week celebrates the collaborative work that has made a difference for people who are deaf or have a hearing loss.
