Carers’ Service Review across the Borough of Rochdale

Rochdale Borough Council’s Commissioning Team and Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group are reviewing the service we commission for Carers. Our teams are proud of the service that is delivered by the Carers’ Hub Rochdale and we are due to recommission the service later this year.

We need help from Carers to inform what support is most important to continue caring, while you are able and willing, while maintaining your health and wellbeing, and enjoying things outside of caring. Your ideas about how the Service should be delivered in the coming years are vital.
There are over 25,000 fantastic Carers across the Borough of Rochdale doing a superb job supporting and caring for loved ones. This review is about enhancing and improving our support for Carers, as we move into an exciting new era for the delivery of services for Carers across local communities.

We are seeking Carers views at special Engagement Sessions which will help take the Service to the next level; ideas, suggestions and thoughts would be most welcome. Your views matter, so this is your opportunity to help shape the future Service. There’s no need to let us know you are coming, so please pop along to chat with the friendly team of staff who will be more than happy to answer your questions about the review.
