Ed is a pan-sector Chartered Institute of Management Accountant Associate (CIMA), who has a range of financial, operational and strategic experience in the private, public and not for profit sectors.
He was previously the Head of Finance at the English Football League (EFL) Trust, a national charity that coordinates a network of 72 local charities with a combined turnover of over £100m. Prior to that Ed led the Services’ departments for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust as Group Finance Director.
With a passion for driving socially conscience organisations, Ed previously trained as an accountant within Lancashire County Council and Places for People Housing Group, before moving into the commercial sector within an acquisitive financial and legal services Plc.
Ed has also lectured for a North West financial training company in Economics and is currently a Trustee and Treasurer for the large procurement charity Fusion21.
