We offer a vast range of volunteering opportunities so there’s something to suit everyone. All opportunities offer the volunteer benefits such as learning new skills, receiving training, gaining experience and making new friends.
All volunteering opportunities provide support and assistance to staff members and clients.
Time commitments vary dependant on which project you wish to give your time to.
All our volunteers receive induction training, 1-1 mentoring, social events and additional training.

North Lancs Adovcacy provides issue specific advocacy support to adults (18+) across North Lancashire, empowering them to have a voice when accessing/dealing with Health and Social Care and adults 16+ when accessing/dealing with mental health services.
Carers Point! offers a range of information and support services to adult carers.
Help Direct supports individuals to get the most out of life by ensuring they access information, guidance and practical support to prevent issues escalating into a crisis. Help Direct also includes the Social Prescribing and Health Trainers services.
Health Trainers are local people who are here to help others make a difference to their lifestyle. Health Trainers help others to improve and maintain a healthier lifestyle by offering practical and personal support.
The Butterfly & Phoenix Projects provide early intervention support to young people
(aged 11 – 18) living in North Lancashire who are self-harming or engaging in self-destructive
behaviour.
